Jiwon

Jiwon is always prepared with a topic that is level appropriate, fun, and interesting. She is extremely approachable, kind, and fun to talk to, but at the same time always challenging me to push myself. I recommend her to anyone looking to make quick progress with a teacher with an organic, bespoke lesson style in a friendly environment.

Jiwon was so encouraging- despite my self consciousness and nerves, she was patient, kind, helpful, and gave plenty of (much needed 🫠) correction. Highly recommend.

Jiwon is a fantastic Korean coach. I reached out to her initially to support what I was learning in my in-person tutoring with simple speaking practice. She has gone way beyond that in each session. She introduces useful grammar points, focuses our sessions on Korean that I can bring with me into everyday interactions, and on top of that, she is so personable and reassuring. I especially appreciate how thorough she is. Our discussions are thoroughly annotated in the chat- each vocab addition or grammar point we touch on, as well as any corrections- are recorded. This is so helpful when I want to review. I cannot recommend Jiwon enough as a tutor. She has been excellent.
